The short answer: one photo or two
In the Hop Hop Hop AI generator, Photo 1 is required and Photo 2 is optional. Upload one adult photo and leave the second slot empty to put that person in both dancer positions. Upload a separate photo of a second consenting adult to make a duet. Both versions use one shared video credit and target one 8-second, 720p, 9:16 vertical MP4.
| What you want | Photo 1 | Photo 2 | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dance with your twin | One clear adult photo | Leave empty | The same person is used for both roles |
| Dance with a friend | Adult who points first | Adult who hops first | The two people switch positions after the cut |
Use one person per photo for the duet. A group photo does not tell the generator which face should fill a role. This studio accepts adult portraits only, so do not upload a child, a pet, or someone who has not agreed to appear in the video.
Which dancer goes in each slot?
Photo 1 is labeled points first. That person begins near the camera and points toward the other dancer. Photo 2 is labeled hops first. That person starts farther back and does the first hops. A cut then swaps their positions for the second half. If you want your friend to point at the start, put their portrait in Photo 1 and yours in Photo 2.
For a twin version, put your portrait in Photo 1 and leave Photo 2 empty. The model generates both dancer appearances from the same source photo. Because this is AI-generated footage, the two copies may not stay perfectly identical in face, outfit or movement. Leaving Photo 2 empty is the intended control for the twin version; uploading the same file twice is unnecessary.
Prepare photos for a moving dance scene
Choose a sharp, well-lit photo with the adult's face easy to see. A picture that also shows some body and clothing gives the model more information for a scene with full-body movement. You do not have to perform the dance or take the two photos together. Avoid heavy filters, strong backlight, sunglasses and tiny faces. Better source photos help the model read the people, but cannot guarantee precise steps or likeness.
Each upload must be JPG, PNG or WebP between 1 KB and 10 MB. If the original is HEIC, export a JPG copy. Check the preview in each slot before creating: the first slot should show the person who points first, and the second should show the person who hops first. Confirm permission for every adult pictured.
Make and follow your video
- Sign in with Google. The studio keeps credits and completed videos with your account. If you have no credits, choose a pack before creating; buying credits alone does not start generation.
- Upload Photo 1. Add Photo 2 only if you want a second person. Check the role labels and selected previews.
- Review the request. The studio shows whether you selected two adults or a twin version, the 8-second output, and the one-credit cost. Use Change photos if the order is wrong.
- Create once and follow the task. After confirmation, open My videos to see the task state. Wait for the existing task to finish before starting another request for the same video.
- Preview and download the MP4. Check both appearances and the position switch before sharing. The model produces new visuals and an original rhythmic sound, not the third-party trend song.
Questions that change your photo choice
Can I use one photo containing two people?
Use separate photos, one adult per slot. If you only upload Photo 1, the studio treats it as a twin request. A group image in one slot is not a reliable way to assign two different dancers.
Does adding a friend cost two credits?
No. One confirmed request makes one video and uses one credit whether you use one adult photo or two. The shared balance also works for the other scenes in this studio.
What if the swap or faces look different from the illustration?
The illustration on the generator page shows the intended sequence, not a completed result. The model creates new frames, so faces, clothing, body positions and timing can vary. A variation is different from a confirmed generation failure. If a task fails or remains in an uncertain state, keep its task ID and contact [email protected] before starting another paid request.
Put the person who points first in Photo 1, then add Photo 2 for a duet or leave it empty for twins.
